The Triumph of Recovery, by Lorraine Graves, MA, MTS, Ph.D., owner of Anchorage Counseling Service, Inc., is a new manual for living and workbook for women that have been sexually abused as children. It has 84 graphics that allows readers to see what they might have experienced to give them a better understanding of the past.

Graves has practiced as a psychotherapist in a variety of settings and has more than 25 years of experience working with women in trauma recovery. She is holding a Women’s Group Meet Up on The Triumph of Recovery on Tuesdays in April. She says, “We can turn to a particular chapter in the book and begin where you are. Are you deeply grieving? Are you being triggered? Problems with your loved one and sex? Do you even remember being abused?”
