The Gulf Breeze Apothecary is sponsoring two wellness classes starting in January. Benefits of Alkalinity, a free class with Sue Galvin, will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., January 17, about how to achieve an alkaline body balance. Bring a bottle of what you're drinking to have the alkaline level checked.

Healthy Eating & Label Reading is a six-week class, beginning in late January, taught by Carla Nemet, to help individuals understand food labels, eat healthier and prepare nutritious meals.
