Born to Run in Fort Walton Beach

Ft. Walton's newest event, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Bay County and sponsored by B2R Racing, will premier with an early morning 5K Run/Walk at 7:30 a.m., July 7, at Fort Walton Beach Landing. A fun run begins at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.

Packet pick-up and late registration are available at Run With It from 4 to 6 p.m., July 6 and from 6:30 to 7 p.m. race day. The first 150 registrants receive T-shirts. Music and refreshments are planned and an awards ceremony will be held after the race.

Habitat for Humanity of Bay County, founded in 1991, is part of a grassroots organization that focuses on eliminating poverty and building decent affordable houses for people in need.
