CLL Sponsors Integrative Medicine Series

 

The Center for Lifelong Learning will offer an eight-week program on Integrative Medicine, beginning in September. Speakers will provide information about health issues and ways to improve health using non-traditional methods.

The first speaker is Daralyn Chase, publisher of NWF Natural Awakenings, who will provide an overview of integrative medicine and how it intertwines with conventional medicine.

Other speakers include: Judith Forsyth (Tai chi, qigong and meditation), Dr. Gary Hendricks (naturopathy), Dr. Sheryl Roe (acupuncture), Arlene Carmichael (vitamins and light therapy), Elaine Courtney (nutrition) and Dr. Karen Henard (chiropractic care).
