Employees, residents and family members at The Blake, a retirement and assisted living facility in Gulf Breeze, have organized a team to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at 8 a.m., October 27, at the Cordova Mall, in Pensacola.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a noncompetitive fundraising walk, raises money for lifesaving research and support programs, educates women about preventive and early detection and celebrates breast cancer survivors.
