Deana Chapman is a certified hypnotist and neurolinguistic programmer with a strong desire to educate the public about what hypnosis really is. “With hypnosis, you can bypass the conscious mind and create positive visions, thoughts or images in the subconscious or unconscious mind. If you can see yourself doing it, you can do it,” she says. Hypnosis is not mind control, but changing perspective to develop a positive self-image for realizing one’s true potential.
Chapman has been in practice for seven years, and boasts a 70 percent success rate in only four to six sessions. She specializes in sports performance enhancement, but helps people with a variety of changes they wish to adapt, such as weight loss, smoking cessation, addiction recovery, increased confidence, increased positivity, improving relationships and overcoming traumatic events, grief or loss. Chapman also offers group hypnotist sessions.
