Regina Jaquess, PharmD, is the founder and owner of Emerald Coast Compounding Pharmacy, located in Santa Rosa Beach since 2010. A local resident since 1998, Jaquess is recognized here as a physician’s compounding pharmacist and internationally as a water skiing world champion and record holder.

Jaquess attended the University of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) College of Pharmacy, ranked in the top 10 and a recognized leader in regard to compounding, where she graduated with honors. She works closely with the Pharmacy Compounding Center of America (PCCA), which provides continuing education in a constantly evolving area of the pharmaceutical profession.

The application of compounded pharmaceuticals is broad. Jaquess specializes in preparing compounds in the areas of anti-aging, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, dentistry, dermatology, gastroenterology, infertility, men’s and women’s health, pain management, pediatric, podiatry, sports medicine and veterinary medicine.

In order to meet individual needs, Jaquess recognizes the importance of knowing a patient’s medical history and current symptoms to allow her to properly formulate prescriptions prescribed by the patient’s medical provider.

Jaquess is a member of the American Pharmacy Association and the Pharmaceutical Compounding Center of America. Over the last few years, Jaquess has established an ongoing relationship with many of the doctors and other outstanding medical practitioners that serve this area.

To accommodate growth of the community compounding needs, Jaquess has opened a new location at 1719 South County Highway 393, in Santa Rosa Beach. New patients are always welcome as she looks forward to the opportunity to expand her service to the community.

Jaquess moved from Atlanta at the age of 14 to pursue her passion in competitive water skiing at the internationally recognized Pickos World Ski Resort, in Santa Rosa Beach. Last year, she was recognized as the USA Water Ski Athlete of the Year, Overall Skier of the Year and Slalom Skier of the Year. In 2012, she won every slalom event in which she competed.

Other awards include the 2011 Florida All Sports Association Amateur Athlete Award, 2011 AAU Sullivan Award, 2009 United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, Georgia Water Ski Hall of Fame Inductee and Atlanta Amateur Athlete of the Year Award. As a member of the Elite USA Water Ski Team since 2001, Jaquess has worked closely with the USOC, where she has opportunity to interact with athletes in many different sports, broadening her knowledge in the areas of sports medicine and pain management.
