With warmer weather on the horizon, Diana Drain, owner of the Golden Almond Health Food Store, is adding something new to the juice bar. She says, “We had wonderful soups for the winter, but now it’s time for delicious salads.” Juice bar manager Deb Daniels has chosen several types of salad to offer at the juice bar that is located inside the store. “Everything we use is organic and often gluten-free. We have some great bean, fruit and pasta salads. We will feature new salads each week such as a potato or chick pea salad,” she explains.

The new salad menu joins a variety of fresh juices. Daniels knows what the favorites are; “The two most popular are the liver tonic that is made from carrots, beets, green apple, kale and ginger, and the Simply Green juice, made from apples, a mixture of greens and ginger.”
