Laura Baltes, formerly at the Posh Daisy, has opened The Red Lotus Salon at 196 Miracle Strip Parkway Southeast, Unit E, in downtown Fort Walton Beach. She will hold a grand opening from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., December 14, where exclusive prizes will be given throughout the day and beverages will be available for all guests.

Nestled in Fountain Square right next to Fokkers Pub, her new salon featuring an industrial décor and carries the Italian colorline Framesi, which is a true coconut-based color. Framesi products are sulfate-free, paraben-free, gluten-free and alcohol-free. 

Baltes has 27 years of experience, beginning in Orange County, California, and says, "I wanted to create an intimate environment for my clients where they are the center of attention with no distractions.” She also features select merchandise from The Green Door Ecoboutique opening soon above Fokkers Pub. Merchandise includes handmade cashmere scarves from Afghanistan, unique calligraphy art and custom crafts from local artists.
