Earth Day Celebration Seeking Participants

The eighth annual Fort Walton Beach Earth Day/Arbor Day event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 19, at Liza Jackson Waterfront Park. The city is accepting applications for vendors and exhibitors, with fees from no cost to $50, depending on the type of organization. Attendance between 750 to 2,500 people is expected, with activities for everyone, including live animal exhibits, music, food, contests and giveaways. 
The event is sponsored by the city of Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County Recycling, Gulf Power, Okaloosa Gas and Natural Awakenings magazine.
