The Golden Almond has been providing organic foods (including vegan and gluten-free options), nutritional supplements and natural pet products to the greater Fort Walton Beach area for three decades. There is a special emphasis on customer service with a friendly, knowledgeable staff that is always available to answer questions about products or place special orders for items not on the shelves.

Owner Diana Drain, a registered nurse with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare field, believes in a proactive approach to maintaining one's own health and wellness through the use of organic, natural foods and nutritional supplements. Initially she was on staff at the store, and felt so strongly about it that she and her husband bought it.

Part of the Golden Almond team comprises the Your Health Choice practitioners that support women’s health and chiropractic services and a variety of practitioners offering such services as LED light therapy, hydro massage, energy biofeedback, nutritional blood analysis and health coaching.

The Juice and Smoothie Bar is open from 9 am to 3pm every weekday; and, depending on season, also offers organic salads and soups. The store hours are Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 10am-4pm.
