To promote diversity, tolerance and acceptance of the LGBT community, an incredible “playshop” will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., May 31, at the Gulf Coast College Performing ATC Building, in Panama City, that will move people from talk to action to kick off Pride Week.

Alex Mercedes will facilitate this high-energy session to move participants past respect for diversity and into ways to promote a peaceful coexistence in today’s world. Designed for allies of the LGBT community, it is an engaging learning and networking opportunity. The results may truly move the greater community to a higher level of conversation and action.
