The new Destin Harbor Farmers' Market has started up at 314 Harbor Boulevard, U.S. Highway 98, in Destin, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays year-round, rain or shine, offering locally grown produce (including aquaponic and hydroponic), fresh baked goods and beautiful arts and crafts from local farmers, bakers and makers. Additional market days will be added soon.

Other items include fresh local produce, fresh farm eggs and milk, tuna and shrimp dips, hummus, pita bread, pickled veggies, artisanal breads and pastries, dairy and organic dog and cat treats. Some vendors are cooking up a smorgasbord of international cuisine, like Greek, Mediterranean, Indian, French, Italian, Mexican and Cuban.
