Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

There’s More than One Way to Rub a Foot

Wayne Haynes, an American Reflexology certified reflexologist, has studied the art for 13 years and recently returned from studying at the Thai Institute, in Arlington, Virginia.

Thai foot reflexology adds a combination of creams and oils and a traditional Thai foot massage stick. It also works up past the ankle to the knee. Thai foot massage also incorporates a unique way to wrap each foot with towels and has a sequence for working the feet and lower legs through the towels.

Wayne will be teaching the basics of Thai foot reflexology at the Wellness Rocks monthly event hosted by Natural Awakenings at Everman's August 14, to enable participants to build routines of their own routine. Cut toenails and bring a towel to wrap the feet. Oil and lotion will be provided or BYO. The Thai foot massage stick is available at Amazon.com/Thailand-Thai-Foot-Massage-Stick/dp/B001S0JYS0 for $3.99. Wet wipes will be provided to clean the feet. Bring a partner or work with someone in class. This class is for fun and will not train one to be a reflexologist.
