Jan 03, 2015 12:47PM
Dr. April Lee, at Bluewater Chiropractic Wellness Center, is seeing new opportunities opening up for pediatric chiropractic care with the education, training and research to improve nervous system function for infant and adolescent. Lee and her associates are currently participating in a research program through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to study the results and impact they are getting on neurological disorders and behaviors.
Lee is familiar with the correction of the occipital-atlanto subluxation and its possibilities for helping children with autism, Asperger’s, ADD or ADHD, along with many other behavioral and developmental disorders. She states, “Many parents are unaware that an infant’s first trauma to their spine and nervous system most likely occurred during the birth process.”
Dr. Lee is a certified applied kinesiologist and is currently working to become a diplomate in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic. Location: 4400 Hwy. 20 E., Niceville. For more information, call 850-897-1177 or visit BluewaterChiropractic.com.
