DR. BAWA & ASSOCIATES
Nitin Bawa, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician, but he has a special interest in bioidentical hormones, esthetics and complementary and holistic medicine. There are not many physicians that understand how to use bioidentical hormones, and Bawa attends many conferences to learn more, including those of the American Association of Anti-aging Medicine (A4M).
Bawa tries to use natural supplements whenever possible and is always trying to determine which supplements work. He uses new technologies such as Coolsculpting and has a lot of experience in using lasers to help people look younger. His Pearl laser can help people look 10 years younger and also performs laser hair and vein removal. Another laser helps with toenail fungus without medication.
Genetic testing is becoming more routine, and Bawa is among the first in the area to start using it as a routine part of a complete physical.
Bawa graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School in 2001 and did his residency in internal medicine at the hospital there. He has been in this area for 10 years and maintains three clinics located in Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Santa Rosa Beach.
