The husband-and-wife team of Dr. Peter Shark, AP, and Niko Shark, HHC, have opened Gulf Coast Wellness, located at 310 East Government Street, in Pensacola, overlooking downtown Seville Square. Gulf Coast Wellness is an integrative medicine clinic that uses natural, drug-free approaches. They make a careful analysis of each individual to create a customized treatment plan.

Peter is an acupuncture physician who uses acupuncture, herbal medicine and neuro-nutrient therapy to treat pain, injury, organ dysfunction, anxiety, depression, insomnia and food cravings. Having operated an acupuncture and nutrition clinic in San Francisco, for more than seven years, he has family roots in the Pensacola area going back to the 1960s.

Niko is a holistic health consultant who is also a certified GAPS practitioner. She specializes in analyzing nutrition and digestive function to resolve digestive problems, autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalances, adrenal dysfunction, reactive skin conditions and childhood behavioral disorders.
