eVest Program Makes Eco-Upgrades More Affordable

The Florida Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program can help pay for wind-hardening upgrades, energy efficiency updates and renewable generation (solar) projects for commercial and residential property owners in Walton County and commercial property owners in Escambia County. An eVest Florida PACE Workshop from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., April 24, at the Walton County Area Chamber, will supply needed information to participate in the programs.

Now people can add the cost of these qualifying projects to their tax bill with no upfront costs or credit check. The amount eligible to finance is dependent on the equity in the property, and the borrowing terms are up to 25 years. Contractors will learn how to become PACE-authorized and offer their services to interested property owners that want to use PACE funding.

Admission is free , and coffee and bagels will be provided. Location: 63 South Centre Trail, Santa Rosa Beach. RSVP to Veronica Cross at 850-855-2682, [email protected] or eVestFlorida.com
