The Pensacola Museum of Art will present a solo show by fine artist Margaret Biggs from September 25 through November 14. An opening night reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. features hors d’ouerves and refreshments. In the show, Visions: Through Paintings and Poetry, the Pensacola native has created a testament to the beauty of the coastal South, featuring depictions of seas, sand, shells and sky, and she accompanies these works in oil with heartfelt writings and poems that become meaningful glimpses into the artist's life and practice.

"My art is an expression of the majesty of nature and the peace we feel within it, and my words reflect this unspeakable force with the thoughts and emotions that color our lives." Biggs explains. "I feel closest to God when I am in a place that I can see such beauty; it's everywhere," she states.
