Dr. Kyle S. Chavers, M.D., recently opened Foundations Medical Center, the newest functional medicine practice at at 870 Mack Bayou Road, Suite D, in Santa Rosa Beach, providing health care for patients 16 and up. Chavers is board certified in family medicine and devoted to helping his patients live a healthy life through promoting healthy lifestyles. 

He began his career at a large medical practice in Dothan, Alabama, where the usual practice was to just treat symptoms and prescribe pills and he saw up to 30 patients a day. This type of medical care just didn’t agree with his core beliefs of treating the root cause of illness and making people well.

That is when he discovered functional medicine and moved, along with his wife, who is also a physician, to Santa Rosa Beach and opened Foundations Medical Center.
