Herbalist Kathy Hubbard will teach a five-week Herbal Certification Course on Saturdays beginning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. January 16, through February 20, 2016, at Old Thyme Remedies. Participants will take charge of their health while learning the history of herbalism, medicinal preparations, the importance of a healthy liver, traditional uses of medicinal plants, herbal terminology and healing properties of more than 100 common herbs. 

They will discover how to use herbs to combat the flu, colds, coughs and upset, stomach and build up the body with herbal preparations to reduce allergies, lower blood pressure, improve digestion and deal with the stressors of the world.
