Ever’man Cooperative Grocery & Cafe has launched a new Charity Eco-Friendly Bag Program to encourage shoppers to use eco-friendly alternatives. For each bag, Ever’man donates five cents to one of three nonprofits. One is committed to providing healthy food, another supports sustainable environmental practices and one ensures the well-being of our pets and wildlife.

The Charity Eco-Friendly Bag Program donation options will be Emerald Coastkeepers, Inc., Waterfront Rescue Mission and Save the Manatee Club through February 29. In the past, shoppers have supported Pensacola’s St. Joseph’s Soup Kitchen, Pensacola Humane Society, The Sierra Club Foundation, Bay Area Food Bank, Scenic Highway Foundation, and the Wildlife Sanctuary.

Ever’man sells natural and certified organic products, vitamin supplements, local and organic produce, wholesome baked goods, hot deli lunches and environmentally friendly products, and hosts educational classes and events.
