April Workshops Teach Artisanal Cheese Making

Foodies interested in making artisanal cheeses and Greek yogurt at home are invited to register for a beginner-level workshop offered by the University of Florida Institute of Agriculture and Food Sciences Extension. The workshop will be offered twice, April 14 in Crestview and April 19 in Fort Walton Beach, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Preregistration is required by April 1.
Participants will learn how to make their own mozzarella, ricotta, cherve/fromage blanc and Greek yogurt. The $20 fee includes samples, materials and recipes, as well as supplies to make cheeses and yogurt at home.
The April 14 workshop will be held at 3098 Airport Road in Crestview. The April 19 workshop will be held at 127 Hollywood Boulevard in Fort Walton Beach.
