Pregnant women and new parents that have had a baby in the last three months will want to attend Healthy Start Okaloosa-Walton’s 2016 World’s Greatest Baby Shower on May 26, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. There will be as many as 50 information stations on topics such as parenting, prenatal health, new baby care and community resources, as well as snacks, games and prizes. Top sponsors for the event include Fort Walton Beach Medical Center; Family Birth Place, Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast; and Molina Healthcare.

The nonprofit Healthy Start Coalition for Okaloosa-Walton counties is guided by a volunteer board of directors as part of a state-wide system of coalitions that provide services to pregnant women and their babies.
