Pilates Core Training Moves to New, Larger Space

Pilates Core Training Moves to New, Larger Space

Pilates Core Training, currently located at 1310-B Dunmire in Pensacola, is completing renovations of a new, larger space in the same complex. Owner Barbara Bruni says she expects to host the grand opening of the expanded studio in late May or early June.

The studio offers movement therapy classes and personalized private sessions in Pilates, Gyrotonic and Gyrokenesis. It also offers a 450-hour, comprehensive teacher training covering the fundamentals of movement; the complete mat equipment repertoire; and modification movements for osteoporosis, knee and hip replacements and other special needs. Pilates Core Training is registered with Pilates Method Alliance Registry of Schools. Bruni is also certified in myofascial structural integration, a mind-body therapy designed to ease painful symptoms caused by restrictions in the myofascial system.

Bruni says the move will allow her to expand the studio’s role as a provider of integrated fitness techniques. “We do so much more than standard fitness,” she says. In keeping with that mission, the new space will include a large room that Bruni plans to rent to another complementary service provider.
