Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

Saturday Farmers’ Market Opens in Niceville

Diane Kolopanas, who operates two vibrant farmers’ markets on the Emerald Coast—the 30A Farmers’ Market in Rosemary Beach and the Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market in Miramar Beach—is now taking that magic touch to Niceville. That Farmers’ Market at Palm Plaza will operate Saturdays year round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the goal of becoming a weekend destination for locals and visitors alike.

Kolopanas will co-own the market with Melissa Miller, with whom she also co-owns 30A Events. Located at 1003 C John Simms Parkway, That Farmers’ Market will offer fresh-from-the-farm produce, dairy, honey, eggs, grass-fed beef, chicken, pork products and sausages; homemade salsas, jams, preserves, pickled veggies, BBQ sauces, marinades, pastas and sauces; ready-to-eat foods, artisan breads, tomato pies, fruit pies and desserts (some organic and gluten-free) from around the world; and a variety of flavored teas and cold-pressed organic juices. It will also carry the kind of non-food items Kolopanas’s customers are used to, such as organic soaps, lotions and sunscreens, and all-natural pet treats.

“We will be adding arts and crafts to the market, like beautiful leather and pearl jewelry, so there is something for everyone,” she says.

For more information, or to inquire about becoming a vendor, call Diane Kolopanas at 850-499-4697 or Melissa Miller at 678-481-2463, or email [email protected]. Visit the market on Facebook at That Farmers’ Market at Palm Plaza Niceville Florida.
