Glowing Results for Recall: Organism from Bioluminescent Jellyfish Proves to Boost Memory Function

Memory is as natural to us as breathing, and we rarely think about it unless we fear we’re losing it. One major reason for memory loss is an insufficient supply of certain nutrients to the brain, especially the B vitamins and amino acids.
The life of the body is in the blood, which nourishes every cell. But if the blood is thick with cholesterol and triglycerides, the amount of nutrient-rich blood that can pass through the blood brain barrier—the protective envelope surrounding the brain—decreases over time. As a result, the brain becomes malnourished.
Brain function also depends on neurotransmitters, chemicals that act as electrical switches in the brain and are ultimately responsible for all body functions. If the brain does not have adequate neurotransmitters or the nutrients from which to make them, it will develop the biochemical equivalent of a short circuit. If your mind goes blank when you’re trying to recall a specific piece of information, it is likely that such a short circuit has occurred.
Other factors that can contribute to memory deterioration include exposure to free radicals, alcohol or drug abuse, allergies, candidiasis, stress, thyroid disorders, poor circulation to the brain and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
The brain health supplement Prevagen, produced by Quincy Bioscience, is the only such product to contain apoaequorin as its main ingredient. First found in a bioluminescent jellyfish, with one of the simplest nervous systems, apoaequorin is now produced in a scientifically controlled process. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study using computers to assess the brain performance of 218 adults over age 40, Prevagen was shown to significantly improve learning and word recall. The supplement has been independently tested and shown to be safe and well tolerated.
Prevagen supports healthy brain function, a sharper mind and clearer thinking. It is the supplement of choice for people who want better brain health.
