Ed Gerhard, the Grammy-winning guitarist well known in Northwest Florida as a frequent musical guest on WUWF-FM’s long-running program “RadioLive,” will perform a holiday concert at 6 p.m., December 8, at Old Christ Church, located at 405 South Adams in Pensacola.

Gerhard will present a soulful arrangement of seasonal music performed on six-string, twelve-string, slide or acoustic Hawaiian lap slide guitar. “Ed Gerhard captivates his audiences with virtuosity, generosity and sly humor,” says WUWF’s Lynne Marshall. “He’s known for his gorgeous tone and compositional depth—he can move a listener with a single note.”

With its Gothic Revival architecture, Old Christ Church will give the concert an inspirational, intimate feel, Marshall says. Seating in the venue is limited.
