We tend to think of yoga as a practice for adults, yet according to a recent survey by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, the number of children practicing yoga in the United States is rapidly growing. Studies show that kids aged 6 to 12 reap tremendous physical and cognitive benefits from regular yoga practice, from improved academic performance to better classroom behavior. This fun yoga class is designed to help kids learn techniques that can help them focus, build their confidence, promote relaxation and develop a keener sense of body awareness. Finding the perfect balance of mind-body awareness is just as important for children as it is for adults. Give your child a chance to explore and learn through a yoga class filled with games, songs and fun yoga and meditation poses.

Kim DeMoss began her journey with yoga in 2008, while living overseas. She fell in love with how yoga can bring peace and balance to the mind. In 2012, her love of yoga took her to pursue her 200-RYT certification. She has been teaching children's yoga classes in the Navarre, Florida, area for more than three years and loves watching young yogis grow their practice and explore the world of yoga.
