I Embody 5K Inspires Participants to Help Themselves, Others

The I Embody All Things Great 5K—founded to inspire people to care for themselves inside and out so they have the positivity, strength and energy to care for others—will take place April 1 on Navarre Beach. Proceeds from the run will benefit the Weekend Show Blocks Food Program of Navarre, Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen of Pensacola and the Pregnancy Resource Center of Navarre.

“The Gulf Coast area is filled with children and families who desperately need our help,” says founder Ludgina Dieujuste. “While we train for this special 5K, let’s remember that each of us embodies all things great. Now let’s walk, run, move for a purpose—yours, mine and ours.”

Participants who register by March 1 will be guaranteed a T-shirt, she says, and whoever gets the most people to register will win a two-night stay from Wyndham Vacation Rentals anywhere from Perdido Key to Panama City.

Jogging strollers will be allowed at the race, which will begin at the boat launch parking lot behind Tom Thumb on Navarre Beach. There will be a PiYo session for participants beforehand, family activities and food trucks during the event, and an after party at Juana’s.
