Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

Heirloom Gardening Class at Ever’Man

Cat McAndrew McCreery, owner of Cat McCreery’s Heirloom Gardens, will be teaching a special class, Natural Remedies for Your Heirloom Garden, on June 2, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Ever’man Cooperative Grocery & Café in Pensacola.

McCreery has a lifetime of experience growing and preserving heirloom, heritage and organic flowers, herbs and vegetables. She has owned and operated Cat McCreery’s Heirloom Gardens for six years, and there are gardens she has planted all over the Pensacola area. Many of the seeds she uses come from her own family lineage and can be dated back to the voyages that brought her grandmothers to the United States from France and Ireland.

After more than 40 years serving the Gulf Coast, Ever’man Cooperative continues to be a premier local source for natural and organic foods. This class is part of its ongoing mission to educate the community about conscious living.

Ever’Man is located at 315 W. Garden St., Pensacola, FL. For more information about this or other events at Ever’Man, visit Everman.org.
