 ensacola’s third annual Clean Energy Fest, celebrating a renewable energy future through art, food, live music and displays of innovative 21st century power, will be held November 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the UWF Historic Trust’s Museum Plaza, located at 120 Church Street in downtown Pensacola. The event is part of the 2017 Pensacola Foo Foo Festival./Displays of electric cars and solar panels, plus a tiny house newly constructed by Pensacola State College students, will show the latest real-world applications of sustainable living. Children’s activities, with hands-on play focused on conservation and clean energy, will take place all day long. 

Hilton Kelley, a Goldman Prize-winning poet whose themes include environmental justice, will share his work, backed by a full lineup of musicians, including up-and-coming artist Audi-Yo, regional favorite Sassafras and popular local artists such as String Farm. 

A centerpiece of the Clean Energy Fest is Crossing Boundaries: Art and the Future of Energy, a national juried art exhibition featuring works by national and local artists in all genres who’ve given creative expression to a clean energy future. Judges will include artists and designers from the Gulf Coast art community, university faculty and clean energy specialists. The exhibit will be a block away from the festival at the Pensacola Museum of Art, 407 South Jefferson Street.
