Hot Glass, Cold Brew Party at First City Art Center

First City Art Center (FCAC), located at 1060 North Guillemard Street in Pensacola, will hold its Hot Glass, Cold Brew Holiday and Ugly Sweater Party on December 8, with general admission at 6 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature guest artist Kazuki Takizawa, pottery demos, performing artists, an art market and holiday sale, food and drinks and children’s activities.

Full admission costs $20-$25 and includes a handmade glass or ceramic cup on a first-come basis, while they last. FCAC members can enter at 5:15 p.m.; prepaid ticket holders can enter at 5:30 p.m. General admission tickets will be on sale at the gate at 6 p.m. Children over 12 are admitted at the reduced rate of $10 (without the glass or cup). Children under 12 are free.

Takizawa, a glass artist who has worked and taught at various educational facilities including Pilchuck Glass School and Public Glass, will be on hand to demonstrate her art. The event will also include a gallery opening showcasing works from FCAC gallery artists. 

Admission includes light fare provided by Fish Fry Magazine, along with two complimentary beers from Pensacola Bay Brewery. Additional beer tickets can be purchased.
