Hispanic Fest Set for September at Convention Center

Hispanic Fest 2018, the largest indoor Hispanic festival in our region, will take place September 9, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island. The family-oriented, cultural and educational event showcases Hispanic folklore, food, culture and live and DJ music. More than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend the festival, which will feature  more than 60 vendors and live performances throughout.

Admission is $5 per person and free for children 12 and younger, with proceeds benefiting the 14th annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Needy Children’s Fiesta. Hispanic Fest is hosted by United for a Good Cause, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Business sponsorships, vendors spots and volunteer opportunities are available.

“The festival gives sponsors and vendors an invaluable opportunity to reach out and market to the growing Hispanic community of the Emerald Coast, as well as the large number of non-Hispanics and military families that attend,” says David Triana, chairman of United for a Good Cause.
