Reflexology Workshops Focus on Natural Health Care

Laurie Azzarella, founder and executive director of Reflex-OIL-ogy, will offer two January workshops for physical and massage therapists and other professionals, as well as for parents, caregivers or anyone interested in learning about their bodies and taking care of themselves and their families naturally.

Reflex-OIL-ogy of the Skeletal System will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 16, at Sonja’s Dance Studio, 508 East Commerce Street, Greenville, Alabama. In this class, Azzarella will discuss incorporating essential oils into the body through Reflex-Oil-ogy to relieve back pain and balance the body naturally. Participants will learn about the anatomy of the skeletal system and how it is reflected onto the feet, practice the AAA Reflex-Oil-ogy and Emotional Pathway Release Techniques, explore the use of essential oils for the skeletal system and nutritional supplements for the bones and joints, and learn self-help stretches for the back. Professionals will receive 8 continuing education units (CEUs). The cost is $185.

A weekend workshop in Ingham Foot Reflexology is scheduled for January 26-27 (7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days), at 28347 Turkey Branch Drive, Bay Branch Estates, Daphne, Alabama. Azzarella will discuss how the body was created to function in perfect balance, and participants will learn techniques for improving the health naturally. Professionals will receive 16 CEUs. The $375 tuition includes textbook, seminar outline, registration with the International Institute of Reflexology, and return privileges. Preregistration is required.
