Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

Happy Spot Studioes Hosts Summer Breeze’ Art Show

MissiLou Worcester, whose paintings and jewelry are designed to inspire and heal, will present Summer Breeze, a free art show, from 6 to 9 p.m., July 20, in the Oceans Ballroom in Spring Hill Suites by Marriott Navarre Beach. In addition to showcasing her own work, including a newly published coffee table book, the show will feature live music by guitarist Jesse Hatch, henna tattoo artist Debra Lynn, sound healing composer Tammy Sorenson Psalmist, door prizes and a cash wine bar.

With such shows as her storefront, Worcester hopes to build a local arts movement that provides “an atmosphere of passionate inspiration that unlocks the heart to explore the rivers of hope and love, and to give a lingering feeling that nothing is impossible.”

She moved from Dallas to Navarre last year to launch this movement through her business, Happy Spot Studios. “It was just that time to jump ship and leave everything to go into a foreign area where I knew absolutely no one. Your heart must obey that hidden adventurer,” she says. “I felt a calling to this area and knew many new things would be birthed here out of my vision to connect with a community with the same hunger to experience new creative activities. My love for the arts, entertainment and culture comes with a mission to see lives changed, leaving drops of hope and inspiration, and yet a powerhouse of bold faith. Art is and has been the floorboard to release recovery, exploring and many mysteries.”

Location: 8375 Golf Blvd., Navarre, FL. For more information, text 850-860-4507 or visit ArtCravings.com.
