Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

Yoga, Movement and Meditation Event at URU Yoga

As an active devotee to meditation and movement practices, Jenny Diebold—a naturopathic wellness guide and medical intuitive who goes by her first name professionally—will lead an open-level yoga practice, movement and guided meditation event August 13, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., at URU Yoga by the Pensacola International Airport.

The night is aimed at providing healthy end-of-the-week unwinding activities, Jenny says. “I have led Friday-night classes in the past, and people have been asking me when I’m going to offer this again. It seems to be time. Initially I will lead the evening with Movement and Meditation for the Everyday Human, with more offerings available in the studio to meet different needs.”

The event is for anyone interested in mindful practices at any level, she says. “My passion for this stems from my physical recovery from a disc rebuild in my spine, and the journey that followed to bring heart and mind connections back into an active body. I’ll be leading an event that allows for all participants to move and align in their unique way while connecting into their heart space for release and play.”

The cost of the class is $13. After-class activities will include 30 minutes of open time for silent meditation, Tarot readings with @curiously_clover (10 minutes for $10), and Ecstatic Dance beginning at 8:30 ($22). All events have separate registration.

Location: 2400 Executive Plaza Dr., Pensacola, FL. For more information, connect with @thejennyguides. To register, visit URUYoga.com/full-schedule.
