Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

Longtime Local ‘Superfood’ Back on Store Shelves

Earthquake Eddie Bee, a line of pollen-based nutritional supplements originally developed and sold in Santa Rosa Beach in the 1990s, is now back on store shelves at retail locations in Northwest Florida and beyond.

Ed Berry, who owned For the Health of It on 30A for more than 25 years, created the product line in 1995 and sold it at his store, where it was popular with patrons throughout the Gulf Coast, he says.

“This superfood utilizes bee pollen, royal jelly and other plant-based foods that are full of life-sustaining nutrients in all of our formulations,” Berry says. “Our formulations include a generous portion of bee pollen due to its active role in promoting a strong immune system, increased energy and an overall feeling of good health.”

The supplements are designed to be added to smoothies and drinks for a tasty energy and immune boost at home, he says. All Earthquake Eddie Bee products are gluten free, dairy free and non-GMO.

“We use only the finest ingredients, and the time-tested formulations we offer have been a part of our lives for many years,” Berry says. “You can find our products at your favorite health food stores and at other locations found on our website, eebsf.com.”
