The Spring Festival of Flowers, one of this area’s largest festivals of the season, will take place the weekend of April 1-3 at Pensacola State College in Milton. The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences is co-hosting this free event, whose goal is to raise money for scholarships, field trips and other student needs.

This is annual festival draws plant enthusiasts from near and far. It features nurseries, a UF student club plant sale, arts and crafts, food, and educational opportunities. Festival hours are Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
