The Florida School of Holistic Living celebrated its first Roots of Herbalism graduating class in Pensacola following a weekend of hands-on training at Ever'man Cooperative’s 9 Mile location. Students explored medicinal plants, learned herbal preparation techniques and studied the foundations of holistic living. The program included tasting more than 20 herbs and creating tisanes and tinctures.

Based in Orlando, the Florida School of Holistic Living offers a variety of educational programs focused on plant-based wellness and sustainable living. Classes range from single-day workshops on herbal remedies, gardening and foraging to in-depth certification courses for aspiring herbalists. The school also provides online learning opportunities, seasonal events and community plant walks throughout Florida.

This fall, the school will exhibit at the Emerald Coast Holistic Health Expo, showcasing its classes and events in the Northwest Florida region.
