Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida

New Therapy Available at M&M Chiropractic

Dr. Amanda Hill and Dr. Martina Castro, who have assumed the practice of M&M Chiropractic, formerly Sheldon Chiropractic, in Fort Walton Beach, have introduced a new modality, LED light therapy, which has been proven effective in treating peripheral neuropathy.

Their medical-grade lights are different than other existing LED light therapies in that they do not generate heat, which can be hazardous in cases of neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy is caused by many factors, including statin medications and diabetes, and until now it was believed that there was no way to stop its progression.

Using specialized therapeutic procedures that include light therapy, Hill and Castro can stop the progression of and potentially reverse neuropathy, although results vary by individual. As they assimilate into the former practice of Dr. Richard Sheldon, with whom they consult, the new owners pledge to keep up with the latest developments and trends in chiropractic care, incorporating new modalities and offerings as their patients' needs change.

Location: 350-D Racetrack Rd. For more information, call 850-863-1920 or visit MandMChiropractic.com.
