Stephen Quong—who has more than 40 years of training in a variety of healing modalities and is the only American-based Vedic astrologer to be accepted as a life fellow of the Indian Council of Astrological Science—will visit the Panhandle November 5-7 to teach Medicine Buddha Dharma and the Yuen Method of Chinese Energetics and offer Vedic astrology readings. “These classes are hard to come by anywhere and have never been available on the Emerald Coast,” says Georgia Ambarian of Light Energy Dancing, which is hosting some events.

Medicine Buddha Dharma has only recently been available to the general public, she says. Quong’s workshop, scheduled for November 5 at the Center for Pranic Healing and Wellness in Gulf Breeze, includes an Abhisheka (spiritual blessing with holy water) and unique methods for self-healing, spiritual protection and distance healing. 

The Yuen Method of Chinese Energetics is an evolving system of healing that incorporates muscle testing, dowsing and direct extrasensory perception. The goal is to identify and immediately neutralize underlying causes of disease, pain and energetic blockages. A graduate of the first mastery-level course offered by this technique’s developer, Dr. Kam Yuen, Quong is “passionate about bringing this effective, rare healing modality to all sincere students.” The class will be held November 6 at Light Energy Dancing.

Vedic astrology (Jyotisha) is the Indian system of using someone’s birth time and Vedic chart to accurately analyze the planetary and karmic factors affecting his or her life path. The details that come with a reading are intended for practical use to remove obstacles and schedule life changes. Quong will be available for readings November 7 at Light Energy Dancing.
