Dr. Brynne Gingras, who is an expert in chiropractic techniques for the upper neck and extremities and is certified in Network Spinal Analysis, has joined the staff of Bluewater Chiropractice in Niceville. “I specialize in gentle, specific chiropractic techniques that address whole-body healing and wellness,” she says. “I chose to join Bluewater Chiropractic because I wanted to work with a group of people who share their passion for health and wellness with the community, and I loved Dr. (April) Lee’s approach and philosophy while working with people.”

After graduating from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Gingras started a mobile chiropractic practice “for animals and their humans.” At Bluewater, she says, she will continue Lee’s philosophy of providing gentle, specific adjustments to achieve better brain-body connection. “I adjust to bring the body into better alignment and help the physiology create a more relaxed, calm, healing state,” she says.

Along with traditional chiropractic adjustments, Gingras has been trained in upper-cervical techniques and extremity adjusting and is certified in Network Spinal Analysis, a technique designed to “ease the physiology out of the fight-or-flight stress response” and into a relaxed state that allows for better overall healing and brain-body connection. While everyone can benefit from chiropractic care, she says, these gentle techniques are excellent for people who have reservations about being “cracked” or “popped” as well as people with conditions such as fibromyalgia, which require an even gentler approach. “Other conditions that benefit greatly from this type of care are PTSD, anxiety, depression and autism or spectrum disorders, because I directly address and reduce the body’s stress response, which often contributes to these types of disorders,” she says.
