With Panama City residents still struggling to rebuild their community after the devastation of Hurricane Michael, they may not feel like there’s much to be thankful for. So Dr. Tony Salamay and his staff at the Bay Clinic of Chiropractic, which like many Panhandle homes and businesses sustained severe structural damage during the storm, decided to share their gratitude with their neighbors. They will be reopening their rebuilt wellness clinic on April 2.

In the spirit of the solidarity slogans #850Strong and #BayCountyStrong, the reopening will feature giveaways to help the Panama City community recover its strength, Salamay says. As part of the celebration, the clinic will offer complimentary consultations for their Grand reopening in May and reduced costs for exams.

“It’s no secret that it’s been a difficult time for everyone in the area,” he says. “That’s why it’s so important to give something back to the community as we get our place of health and wellness back up and running after the hurricane.”

Ultimately, Salamay looked to turn the crisis into an opportunity, redesigning his clinic to be even more comfortable and functional than it was before.
