Hippie Festival Returns for Summer Solstice

The annual Hippie Festival Summer Solstice Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 19, at the Stone Soup Intuitive Spiritual Center’s new location in Fort Walton Beach. The new venue, on Carmel Drive, is much larger than the previous one but only a mile away, says owner Jan Myers.

“On this day of celebration, we encourage participants to wear their best hippie threads and dreads, bring a friend and relive those fabulous ’60s and ’70s,” she says. “Emotional release sessions, spirit drawings, psychic readings, aura photography and a crystal light bed are some of the highlights of the day’s festivities. There will also be aura readings, intuitives and healers, food and fun.”

No drugs or alcohol are allowed. Masks are not mandatory, and anyone is welcome to attend. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

“Our new location is a spiritual destination with plenty of parking and room to dance and enjoy life again,” Myers says.

The festival is currently seeking additional vendors to participate in this event.

Cost: Free to attend; cost varies for vendor services. Location: Stone Soup ISC, 314 Carmel Dr., Ft. Walton Beach, FL. For more information about the event or vendor opportunities, call 850-533-6565 or visit IntuitiveSpiritualCenter.org.
