Bonnie McLean, who has 38 years’ experience in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, has relocated her healing work to Empathic Practice in Pensacola. McLean says she brings an integrative approach to that work, with 20 years’ experience in nursing (BSN from Duke University); a master’s in counseling from Pepperdine University; certification in hypnosis; and extensive training in energy medicine and shamanic healing.  

“I consider myself more of a practitioner of integrative medicine who uses Oriental Medicine as my primary healing tool,” she says. “I embrace both Western and Oriental Medicine and believe that both are important when someone needs help with their health.”

McLean specializes in pain and stress-related conditions, habit control, allergies and women's health. She is the recipient of the IAOTP (International Association of Top Professionals)  Holistic Healer of the Decade in 2020 award for outstanding service in the field of healing arts and health care, and the IAOTP’s Top Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncturist award in 2019. Her local awards include Best Practitioner of Alternative Medicine in Gulf Breeze in 2020 and 2021.
