This year’s theme incorporates the free-spirited water tiger, “The water tiger—embodying passion, creativity and life force—reminds us that it’s a time to be brave, bold and adventurous,” shares event co-organizer, Stacey Vann.

Mahabhuta Yoga VegFest opens on Thursday, November 10, with an earth mandala ceremony intended to bless the festival’s yoga and meditation space. Over the course of the event, visitors can observe this work of art designed to encourage healing, peace and purification.

On Friday, sand sculptors will create unique sand art installations in front of the Landshark Landing Beach Bar & Grill. Dan Anderson, founder of Dan Castles, and his team will build a pinnacle sand sculpture featuring the Year of the Water Tiger.
