Mahabhuta YogaFest Returns for Final Festival Year
Mahabhuta YogaFest Returns to Pensacola Beach, FL, November 9 to 12 for its final year. The festival, being held at its original location at Sanders Beach, promises to be an ultimate celebration of yoga, music, art, slackline, aerial, galactic child yoga, and vegan cuisine. “Get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend filled with yoga, delicious plant-based cuisine, and a vibrant community of like-minded individuals,” invites festival co-founder, Stacey Vann, owner of Breathe Yoga and Wellness Center in Pensacola.
The event, which marks the last festival in a 12-year series, officially kicks off November 9 at 4 p.m. with an opening cacao ceremony and concert featuring Rahasya. “In 2012, we opened the festival with the theme of the Water Dragon. Our intention was to commit to offering the Mahabhuta Yoga Festival for 12 years in sync with the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle to bring healing to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico after the tragic BP Oil spill,” explains Vann. “We celebrated the yang and yin energies through each element. We began with the water element, and we are completing the journey in the water element. Each year, we wove the theme of the festival with the element and the animal associated with that year.” This year, the event theme is the Year of the Water Rabbit, and highlights elements of peace and calm.
Location: 913 South I Street Pensacola Beach, FL. Tickets available on Eventbrite.com. For more information, visit MahabhutaYogaVegFest.com.
