Paws and Celebrate at the Barktoberfest

Mark your calendar for a day of smiles, wagging tails, and community spirit.
The Pensacola Humane Society’s much-anticipated annual Barktoberfest event is scheduled for Sunday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Seville Square. Dog lovers are invited to bring their furry companions for a day filled with canine activities, demonstrations, costume contests, and vendor booths.
Barktoberfest has earned its reputation as the must-attend event for local pet owners. Admission is free, making it accessible for all who want to join the fun while supporting a great cause. The event draws animal lovers from across the region, creating a vibrant community of dog enthusiasts.
This year’s festivities will feature a variety of pet-related fun aimed at both dogs and their owners. Costumed pets will have a chance to strut their stuff in the popular costume contest, and visitors can browse booths from vendors specializing in pet products and services.
Through this event, the Pensacola Humane Society hopes to raise awareness for homeless animals. Proceeds and donations from the event will support the organization’s mission of helping abandoned pets find loving homes.
