Keep Pensacola Beautiful Presents Pieces Adrift Art Show and Auction

Keep Pensacola Beautiful is gearing up for its annual Pieces Adrift Art Show and Auction, a highlight of the annual Foo Foo Fest as an official “Friend of Foo.” The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, at the First City Art Center in Pensacola, marking a return to the organization’s roots. This year, admission is free and open to the public, encouraging the community to come together in celebration of art, recycling and sustainability.

The show will feature artists of all ages, each showcasing unique pieces made with at least 50 percent recycled or reused materials. Visitors will have the opportunity to bid on and take home these eco-friendly creations during the auction.

Two local food trucks, EinSwine Barbecue and Sneaky Tiki, will be on-site offering a variety of tasty options. EinSwine’s menu includes everything from spring rolls to their popular burnt ends, while Sneaky Tiki will serve up classic hotdogs and their specialty, shaved ice.

Attendees are encouraged to bring single-use plastic grocery bags to exchange for a reusable Keep Pensacola Beautiful shopping bag. In addition, Open Water will provide free canned water to keep visitors refreshed.

Location: 1060 N. Guillemard St., Pensacola. For more information and to learn about volunteer opportunities for the event, visit KeepPensacolaBeautiful.org.
